About this appellation

Volnay

Volnay, in the Côte de Beaune between Pommard and Meursault, is renowned for the finesse of its red wines made from Pinot Noir. The Clos des 60 Ouvrées, classified as premier cru, is farmed by Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, whose label is reproduced here. Discover all our appellations.

A rare detail: the label reproduced here is from a magnum (1,500 ml). It shows the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or house above its vines, the word “Monopole” and “mis en bouteille au domaine” (estate-bottled) in Volnay.
