About this appellation
Meursault-Gouttes d'Or
Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune, is one of Burgundy's great white wine appellations, made from Chardonnay. Les Gouttes d'Or is one of its climats (named vineyard sites) classified as premier cru; the label reproduced here is that of Vincent Latour. Discover all our appellations.
Vincent Latour's label opens with a blue monogram topped by a tower, drawn over a view of the village, followed by “Meursault-Gouttes d'Or – Premier Cru” in cursive lettering: a name (“drops of gold”) that evokes the color of Meursault's great white wines.
