These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the couleursettendances.fr website.
1. The Seller
The website is published by MFD DECORATION — Couleurs et Tendances, a SASU (French simplified joint-stock company) registered with the Dijon Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 992 461 780 (EU VAT number FR34 992461780), whose registered office and shop are located at 28 rue du Faubourg Madeleine, 21200 Beaune, France. 2. The Products
The products offered for sale online are described on their product pages as accurately as possible (photos, dimensions, features). The wine label lamps are an original creation of Couleurs et Tendances. Offers are valid while stocks last, as indicated on each product page.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (French VAT included). Shipping costs are extra; their exact amount is displayed before the order is confirmed. The price charged is the one in effect at the time of ordering.
4. Ordering
The customer selects their items, chooses a delivery method and then a payment method. Before paying, the customer checks the order summary and accepts these terms and conditions. The order is final once payment has been confirmed; a confirmation email summarizing the order is then sent to the customer.
5. Payment
Payment is made online at the time of ordering, by credit or debit card or with PayPal (including the pay-in-installments option offered by PayPal). Payments are processed securely by PayPal; Couleurs et Tendances never has access to your card details.
6. Delivery
- In-store pickup: free, at 28 rue du Faubourg Madeleine in Beaune, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
- Local delivery: free on orders of €50 or more for addresses within a 15 km radius of the shop.
- Colissimo: home delivery in France and to the countries offered at checkout; the rate depends on the weight of the parcel and is shown before payment.
Orders are prepared and shipped twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. If a parcel arrives damaged, open it in the presence of the delivery person, take photos and contact us promptly via the Contact page.
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), you have 14 days from receipt of your order to change your mind, without having to give a reason.
- Inform us of your decision before the end of this period, by email to contact@couleursettendances.fr or via the Contact page, for example using the following wording: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following item: …, ordered on …, received on …, name, address, date.”
- Return the item within the following 14 days, complete and in its original packaging, to 28 rue du Faubourg Madeleine, 21200 Beaune, France, or bring it back to the shop. Return costs are at your expense.
- We will refund all sums paid, including the original shipping costs (on the basis of the cheapest standard delivery method), within 14 days of your request, using the same payment method you used. The refund may be withheld until the item has been received.
Exception: personalized lamps (your winery's label, a photo of your choice) are made to your specifications and are not eligible for withdrawal (Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code).
8. Legal Warranties
Our items are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), which entitles you to the repair or replacement of a non-conforming item for two years from its delivery, and by the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
9. Personal Data
The information collected when you place an order is used solely to process that order and to manage our customer relationship. To find out more and exercise your rights, please see our legal notice.
10. Complaints and Mediation
For any complaint, please contact us first: we will do everything we can to find a solution. If no agreement can be reached, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by French law.
