The Calendar of Occasions

A wine label lamp or kakemono makes a lovely gift all year round. A few dates to keep in mind so you are not left scrambling at the last minute:

Late January: the Saint-Vincent Tournante

The great festival of Burgundy's winegrowers honors Saint Vincent, their patron saint, on the last weekend of January, in a different village each year. A lovely excuse to give the label of an appellation to a wine lover who is going.

May and June: Mother's Day, Father's Day

In France, Mother's Day falls on the last Sunday in May (or the first Sunday in June when it coincides with Pentecost), and Father's Day on the third Sunday in June. A 29 cm lamp or a kakemono with the label of their favorite wine makes a personal gift that doesn't take up much room.

Weddings and Wedding Anniversaries

Plan ahead: orders are shipped twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. If you are near Beaune, in-store pickup is free, Tuesday to Saturday. For a personalized lamp, contact us as early as possible.

Passing through Beaune? Order online and choose free in-store pickup at 28 rue du Faubourg Madeleine, or come and choose your gift directly in the shop (opening hours and directions).
