About this appellation
Aloxe-Corton
Aloxe-Corton is a village in the Côte de Beaune, at the foot of the hill of Corton, a few kilometers north of Beaune. The appellation mainly produces red wines from Pinot Noir. Clos des Maréchaudes is one of its climats (named vineyard sites) classified as premier cru; the label reproduced here is that of Domaine du Pavillon. Discover all our appellations.
Printed large on the canvas, the label reveals every detail: the crowned coat of arms, the word “Monopole,” the Clos des Maréchaudes climat and the signature “Albert Bichot, propriétaire” (owner). Ideal for decorating a wine cellar wall.
